Thornton Cottage

Here is my new little project, a beautiful 1/24th Cottage. I  haven't seen this design before and I am intrigued as to who it was made by.

There is a beautiful real size cottage in Thornton Le Dale, Yorkshire, it is such a beautiful sight, a perfect chocolate box image. I am going to take inspiration from that cottage to decorate mine. 

I'm want to give the exterior a stone effect finish and give the roof a thatched effect. I've been researching ways to do this easily and many people suggest using Das clay. I've never used it before but I'm willing to give it a go. Fingers crossed it works.
